I recently upgraded my PC and was curious about AV1 encoding for gameplay recordings. The compression is impressive—I'm getting the same visual quality at nearly half the file size compared to x265. It's a bit heavier on the CPU during encoding, but with modern hardware it's totally manageable. Great for archiving long sessions.
