My AC stopped blowing cold air right in the middle of a heatwave, and I had no idea what was wrong. A friend recommended a local repair person who actually showed up on time and explained the issue without trying to upsell me on a whole new unit. He just replaced a faulty capacitor and cleaned the coils, and now the system works better than it has in years.
